I just returned from a brief vacation, and I did not bring my laptop. Getting away yourself? Consider not bringing yours.

Of all of the sayings I have “borrowed” from my significant other, “you catch more flies with honey” is probably my favorite.

Can you believe it? My mom is retiring today, after decades of service to the public school system. Don’t tell her employers though. They wouldn’t even front her $26 for a congratulations lunch.

Our landlords are kicking us out of our apartment. We have spent the last six years here. It was our first apartment together. It was the apartment where I proposed and the apartment where we returned after our honeymoon.
